Home Again, Home Again, Jig a Jig Jig!

Hello Family

After being away for almost 3 weeks, we are happy to be home (the home front but not the snow and freezing temperatures!) We enjoyed very warm and humid temperatures - at times wiping the sweat (and makeup - me not Grandpa!) away. We were with a group of only 19 other people this time which was nice because we quickly got to know and enjoy everyone. We were on the bus for more than 2400 miles but were able to see much of a very beautiful country. I was much better this time communicating in Spanish - it makes me want to learn the language better. It really is a beautiful language. I loved talking with the people and usually found them to be a very sweet and honest people.

We saw many evidences of the truth of the Book of Mormon. There is no way that Joseph Smith or any other man in the 1800's could have known enough about the details of peoples, geography, etc. to write the Book himself. It never contradicted itself or varied with details from other sources. In fact it agreed with a very early historian's knowledge of the land and the people.

It was really a privelege for us to be there and we appreciate so much all that was done for us so that we could go. We appreciate Mark's early morning trip to the airport and again the late night pickup and delivery service and for the bed and breakfast coming & going. We especially appreciate Maren for house and Jordan sitting and Marty for the sitting on the weekend. I loved getting into the Phoenix airport and turning on my phone and finding a sweet video clip of the twins. What a fine welcome home it was! We have awsome kids and the cutest grandkids in the world. We feel very blessed. It was wonderful to be able to stay in touch with you via email while we were gone. It was a highlight of the day when I got on my email and found messages from you.

We gotta all get going with this eblog thing. It is such a cool way to share photos and news with each other. Anyway, that's all for now.

Luv ya all TONZ

Momma

I thought I would add my 2 cents since it took me a year to force little miss Sara Lou Who to do this. It looks like you had a super fun trip. I am glad that you two were able to have a little get away you deserve it. Anyways I am glad you decided to join the blog family. It helps me spy on Sara :)
